ALL but a “handful” of commercial units at Farnham’s Brightwells Yard development now have tenants lined up for them, Crest Nicholson chiefs have said.

The Herald was given unprecedented access to the East Street construction site last Friday – during which Crest’s project team expressed supreme confidence that not only will Brightwells be ready to open next spring, but its 25 shops, eight restaurants and 239 flats will be all-but occupied too.

And quite an opening it promises to be, with Crest confirming it has scrapped plans for a phased launch in favour of a “big bang” opening next spring.
