EAST Hampshire MP Damian Hinds hailed the official launch of the South Downs National Park last week as a "special and historic day".

Businesses and organisations across East Hampshire are now looking forward to the opportunities that being at the heart of the park will undoubtedly bring, said the Tory, who was elected to represent the constituency covering Liphook at Westminster, last May.
