THIS year’s Easter egg hunt on Good Friday at Liphook’s Millennium Centre was a great success and blessed with glorious sunshine.

Sarah Bennett, from Tjaysfun4all, who organised the event for the second year running, said: “We were thrilled with the weather this year, after a very soggy event last year, and it was very busy all day.

“Sadly, we could not run the popular barrel ride this time, since the ground on the Millennium Green was too wet, but we did have lots of inflatables, played games, sang songs, did some dancing and organised fun easter egg hunts for the children.

“We are hoping to be back next Easter with the barrel ride and would like to apologise to anyone who missed it, but hope lots of fun was had by all.”
