USERS of Liphook's Peak Centre were given a luxury treat this week by Martin Shaw, owner of Old Thorns Manor Hotel.

Thanks to parish councillor Eve Hope, who approached Mr Shaw about the elderly residents' plight, they were able to watch television, enjoy coffee, tea and cakes in the hotel's Champagne bar, and have a two-course lunch in the carvery as part of their day out.
