CHILDREN and staff at Brookham Pre-Prep and Nursery took part in the European Day of Languages, celebrating different nations.

They dressed according to their chosen country, participated in various activities, researched and created their own fact booklets, cooked authentic dishes, and were treated to an amazing array of international food by the catering team.

The highlight of the day was a visit from Ester and Uri of international flamenco company Mi Flamenco.

Children experienced the power of the flamenco rhythm created by palmas (clapping), zapateado (fast, strong footwork) and a virtuoso guitarrista, to shouts of Olé!
