KNOWN as the “Fortnum and Mason of Milland", customers got a taste of many of the new Christmas products from an emporium of selected goods at the Community Stores and Cafe.

A special incentive was provided by author Garry Eveleigh, who has been foraging all things edible for many years, by presenting and signing his book Wild Cook, which is full of food recipes inspired by the countryside.

Offering a full range of convenience store items as well as a deli counter together with a range of fresh local fruit, vegetables, fish, meats, eggs, home baked bred and flowers, the store and cafe have become a focal point and hub for the whole community as well as its surrounding area.
