LIPHOOK United’s Under 12s can claim to be the smartest bunch of lads, both on and off the pitch, thanks largely to barbers Feebz, who agreed to become their new sponsor.

Club chairman Andrew Oxton, who also manages the Huskies, told The Herald: “We’re delighted to be chosen by Phoebe Thomson, of Feebz Barbers, as the team they wanted to sponsor and hope that this is the start of a long relationship.

“Many of the lads were already fans of this excellent barber’s in The Square – and are even more so now.

“Their sponsorship means they all have new kits and training tops and are proud to cover various parts of North East Hampshire.

“It also coincides with the team making it into the top division, hoping to do well in the Hampshire FA Cup this season.

“Young footballers and local sponsors combine to form the lifeblood of volunteer-led clubs like ours and I am very proud to be associated with this team and Feebz.”
