A NEW plaque has been unveiled on Farnham’s Famous Names Wall.
Nationally-acclaimed dancer Brenda Simner - who has lived in Farnham her whole life - was joined by family members for the unveiling on September 7.
She was nominated following a career as a ballroom dancer, in which her husband and dancer partner Sid were undefeated champions for three years at the British Championships during the 1980s.
After they turned professional, the couple established the Remnis Dance School, and hosted tea dances and classes from 1989 to 2017.
