ACCOMPLISHED young singers and instrumentalists are wanted for a series of formal and informal auditions to join Hampshire County Council’s Music Service ensembles.

The auditions take place later this term to find new ensemble talent for the next academic year, starting in September.

County ensembles provide high-quality performing opportunities for Hampshire’s most able young singers and instrumentalists, with performances not just in Hampshire, but all over the UK and abroad.

Membership is open to all pupils up to the age of 19 who are in full-time education. Places for the autumn term will become available as existing members move on to higher education or start their careers, offering a number of exciting opportunities for students at Hampshire schools and colleges to make their musical mark.

* Hampshire County Youth Orchestras (open day May 21).

* Hampshire County Youth Bands.

* Hampshire County Youth Wind Ensembles (open day May 14)

* Hampshire County Youth Choir.
