JEREMY Hunt, the MP for South West Surrey, will be attending an event about climate change next month.

The climate justice event takes place from 9.30am-1pm at St George’s Church, Badshot Lea, on March 12, with opportunities for people to network and environmental groups to present work they are doing to combat climate change.

Mr Hunt will be at the event for around 40 minutes to talk about the issue.

Reverend Lesley Crawley, who is the environmental adviser for the Diocese of Guildford, organised the event. She said: “There is a growing concern among people in South West Surrey that more needs to be done to tackle climate change.” To get involved, call Rev Crawley on 01252 820537.
