EAST Hampshire's MP will help launch this year's poignant two-week Poppy Appeal on Saturday.

Damian Hinds, together with East Hampshire district councillor Angela Glass, will be helping Colonel Jimmy Jack start the Royal British Legion appeal in Sainsbury's foyer, at 9am.

This year commemorates the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War and the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings during the Second World War.
