FOLLOWING concerns over public access to Army land the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has urged dog owners to be responsible when walking on the Longmoor Ranges.
A Whitehill town councillor reported seeing a "tiny A4 sign" warning residents if they did not clean up after their dogs public access would be lost forever.
He said that if this was the case, the MoD should display the warning more prominently.
Tony Gray said: "It almost makes me feel like they're looking for another way of closing it, an excuse," he said.
