LIPHOOK Infant and Junior School hosted its annual May Fair, which raised an amazing £4,700.
The afternoon was well-supported by the children, their families, friends and teachers as well as members of the wider community.
The fair was opened by pupils and teachers performing a country dancing display, followed by Irish dancing, acts from the Junior School talent show and an amazing Taekwon-do display.
The fair had plenty of traditional stalls, lucky dips, a raffle, face painting, tombolas, hook-a-duck as well as a sweet stall and treasure map, stocks and water games and a bouncy castle.
Many of the prizes were donated by local businesses, the barbecue was sponsored by Sian Property Improvements and the fair was advertised by estate agents Clarke Gammon Wellers, who placed their boards around the parish.
Executive headteacher Michele Frost told The Herald: “This has been a really fabulous May Fair, and thankfully the weather was kind which helped to make it a fantastic family afternoon.
“The money raised will be put to good use for both schools.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in making this possible, especially the schools’ PTA members from Liphook Infant School Friends Association (LISFA) and Friends of Liphook Junior School (FOLJS).”
