EASTERTON Planning unveiled new proposals for land at Lowsley Farm during a public consultation night held at Liphook Junior School on Tuesday.

Planning permission for 155 homes was granted by East Hampshire District Council in 2012.

But now Easterton intends to submit an outline planning application for residential development to cover land on both the approved phase one as well as additional land to the north.

A separate application for the change of use of land to sustainable alternative natural greenspace will be submitted concurrently to provide mitigation for the proposals – given the site's proximity to the special protection area.

The new proposals residential element will comprise the 155 dwellings approved under phase one – plus an additional 175 properties on the remaining land.
