THE Cody Musical Theatre Company is performing The Addams Family at the Princes Hall in Aldershot from March 29 to April 2.
It is a musical about this wacky family with love as the central theme, a spectacular show with great scenery and costumes, a live orchestra and a well-written script and libretto.
This show is full of comedy, brilliant songs and inspiring dances, featuring an original story which is every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family.
Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family when they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.
The Princes Hall has installed the latest air filtration units throughout, using HEPA filters to clean the air thoroughly. Face masks are still encouraged.
Performances are at 7.30pm every night, and also at 2.30pm on April 2. Proceeds will go to local and national charities. For tickets, priced £16 to £21, call 01252 329155, email [email protected] or visit www.princeshall.com/event/115001/the-addams-family
