A WHOPPING £10,000 was raised by the 10th Little Lumpy Cycle Sportive in aid of Haslemere Festival and Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care, last month.

Now one of the top sportives in the South of England, it offers riders a choice of three circular routes from Woolmer Hill sports ground through some of the prettiest countryside up and over the South Downs.

Organiser Ken Griffiths and Stella Mills were delighted to present a cheque for £5,000 to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care as a result of the money raised by the 2018 event.

Another £5,000 has also been paid to the Haslemere Festival the other good cause.
