MORE than 50 children from Little Cherubs Nursery celebrated the end of summer term over two days with sports activities, games as well as picnics.

Maureen Powers, who runs the nursery at the Methodist Hall in London Road, Liphook, told The Herald: “We put together a separate party for our younger group of children on one day, which included bouncy castles and lots of fun and games.

“The group of older children had 25 leavers this year, who will be starting primary school in September. They also had a graduation ceremony to celebrate their time with us.

“Our autumn term will be starting on Monday, September 4, when we begin with a theme called ‘all about me’, where children tell us what they like to do. This will be followed by our Harvest festival at the end of September, held in aid of a charity.”

Little Cherubs has a total of seven staff and is still offering places for the autumn term.
