Organisers of the monthly Liphook Village Market and Liphook Wellbeing Group (LWG) have cancelled the event, due to be held tomorrow, Saturday, March 14 at the Millennium Centre, Ontario Road.

The cancellation, which was announced yesterday (Thursday) evening, after The Herald went to press, follows the ever changing situation with Coronavirus.

LWG have also cancelled the new networking meting for local businesses, scheduled for March 17 and the community lifestyle event due to be held March 22.

In a statement LWG said: “We are aware of the impact of social isolation and are looking at online ways we can help keep our community connected.”

Liphook U3A also decided to cancel the annual open day, which was due to take place on Wednesday, March 18 at the Millennium Centre.

They will reschedule at a later date.
