HEAVY snow brought Liphook and the surrounding areas to a complete standstill last Thursday, reminiscent of 'Whiteout Wednesday' at the beginning of January.

School closures at Bohunt, Liphook Junior and Linfant Infant, as well as Hollycombe Primary, meant fun in the snow for children and their parents for the rest of the week.

But it also brought with it cancellations of Christmas fairs and other weekend events.
