MEMBERS of Liphook Laundry were delighted to receive further donations to keep the service going.
Their plight attracted sympathy among local businesses and residents as well as a BBC South TV crew, who featured the story on Wednesday.
They were recently given another cheque for £500 by the Tom Langton Fund – courtesy of Woolmer Forest Lodge, presented by David Pennell, Master of the Lodge, to chairman Irene Ellis.
And East Hampshire District Council has just contributed £500 toward the cost of kitting out the little laundry, located next to the Peak Centre, on Midhurst Road.
