THERE could be tears on the dancefloor this weekend as one of Bordon’s most unusual attractions could be closing its doors for the last time.

The team at Bordon Roller Rink are hoping for a big crowd this weekend as their home in Building 64 is closing.

Their final roller disco will take place this Saturday with four-hour sessions beginning at midday and 5pm.

There’s barely a dozen roller rinks around the UK so efforts are being made to find a new home, but it might be a while before a site is confirmed.

“We hope to see as many of you as possible on what will be our last disco for the foreseeable future,” said a spokesman for the operation.

Hot and cold food will be available at both sessions with entry costing £5 per person plus £2 skate hire. No booking necessary, the site is opposite Oakmoor School.
