RUNNERS are being urged not to miss the chance to take part in the Punch Bowl Challenges at Hindhead next week.
The popular annual event is run jointly by the Black Down and Hindhead Supporters of the National Trust and the Haslemere Border Athletics Club. It will be held on Sunday, October 4.
It offers challenges for all age groups, ranging from a 50m dash for the under sixes to a 10k run.
Runners and spectators alike also get the opportunity to experience some fabulous countryside.
All profits are ploughed back into the area. Projects trust supporters are financing include building children’s play trails and buying cows GPS collars to help the rangers find them. The event is also being supported by Barons BMW, Keats estate agents, the Punchbowl Hotel, Tindle Newspapers and Sweatshop.
