Next month’s gig will raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity’s Alex Bolt Fund.
“We’re looking forward to a fantastic evening for a brilliant cause close to our hearts,” said Jeannette, who set up the fund in memory of her son Alex, who loved cricket and wanted to be a doctor.
He died aged 16 in May 2011, just over a year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. His heartbroken family set up the fund to help the charity’s battle against brain tumours – the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK.
They have so far raised more than £500,000 for the charity.
