THE iRock School of Music has been keeping local youngsters busy this summer holidays.

Held at Anstey Junior School, the week-long camp saw children jamming together with iRock’s unique brand of education, music and fun.

This year the school gave people the chance to bag free places at the camp with not one but two sets of twins named as winners.

Jack and Amelia Brett, five, and Freya and Thomas Graham, six, joined fellow camp-goers in forming a rock band and recording their own music.

Tracy Coult from iRock said the week was a resounding success.

“The children performed a concert to the parents on the last day of camp where they showcased the songs they had written themselves,” she added.

“They were absolutely amazing and so creative. The music videos they created were so artistic and they obviously had so much fun making them through the week.”

She said the camp did “wonders for their confidence and self esteem”.
