HASLEMERE celebrated its 35th Charities Fair by raising more than £6,400 - and counting - for good causes at Haslemere Hall last week.

The founder and organiser, Haslemere resident Dianne Bennett, also runs the town branch of Bliss, the premature baby charity.

Dianne, who was presented with a special BLISS cake, said: “It was our largest event ever, and we had more people come through the doors than we’ve ever had. ”

Dozens of good causes based in around the town were able to raise funds selling items – many with a festive theme – from their stalls packed into the hall.
