VOLUNTEERS from a gas distribution network have increased their connections with a support home in Liss by tidying up their overgrown communal garden.

Volunteers removed a wasp need, painted fences, jet-washed the patio and repaired the shed roof ahead of the home’s garden party.

It’s the third year running that volunteers from the firm’s Community Action Programme have dished the dirt at the home and staff were impressed with their workrate.
“There was a real sense of team spirit and collaboration, with everyone mucking in and playing their part,” said SGN manager Hayley Randall.
