A HORSE owner is offering an unspecified reward for the safe return of a blue Ivor Williams horse trailer, stolen in the early hours of March 15 from a property at Thedden, north of Beech.
According to the owner, the double trailer, which was wheel clamped and parked on private land, was apparently seen at around 5.30am that morning being driven at high speed through Passfield, towed by a dark estate car and heading toward Headley Down, where there was another possible sighting on Saturday.
It has a registration number of 27 DNR.
The trailer (pictured), which is not new, is the pride and joy of the owner, an ambulance driver, who has only been able to use it once since receiving it as a cherished Christmas present.
The theft has been flagged up on social media and in particular by Hampshire Horsewatch, and it has been reported to the police.
Anyone with information about the stolen trailer should call Hampshire Constabulary on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting reference number 44180101004.
