POLICE are appealing for help to trace a driver who failed to stop following a crash with a cyclist on the A325 Bordon to Farnham road last Thursday.

Officers were called at 6.10pm to attend the incident at Holt Pound in which a vehicle was in collision with a 24-year-old cyclist.

The vehicle failed to stop, leaving the cyclist lying in the carriageway with minor injuries.

Pc Michael Batten said: “We know that this collision happened when this road was busy with commuter traffic, so we would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it.

“It happened on an unlit section of this road between Holt Pound crossroads and the turning for Blacknest. The cyclist was wearing a high-visibility rucksack cover and had lights on his bike.

“If you were the driver of the vehicle, or if you know who was driving, please get in touch.”
