Colonel Jimmy Jack, who runs the Bramshott and Liphook appeal, feels collectors have done better than the previous year, when a record figure of £10,058.85 was reached.
So far, more than £4,000 has been counted over the weekend, with more than half of the 117 boxes and 24 house-to-house collections still outstanding.
