CHURCHER'S College Junior School was invaded by people from the past as children learned how to dress, live and fight as Anglo-Saxons.

Teacher Mrs Roberts said: "The aim of the day was to bring our history topic alive and encourage children to consider how people would have lived, worked and defended their homes in the past."
