Tempting participants were several routes, starting with a seven-mile ramble, which took in Chiddingfold and Ramsnest Common and their spectacular autumn scenery.
The 10-mile walk went over heathland and woodland around Surrey’s Blackheath, ascending Pitch Hill for a picnic lunch stop with impressive views of the scenery.
The third outing was a four-mile hike around Puttenham.
