ROCK star David Bowie sadly passed away on January 11, 2016, aged 69, after a battle with cancer. Two weeks ago, he was awarded a posthumous Icon award at the Brits, as Lorde sang Life on Mars while former Eurythmics star Annie Lennox and actor Gary Oldman read tributes to the south London-born star, who had hit records over six decades.
