HASLEMERE Travel’s first Surrey Cruise Show docked at Liphook’s Old Thorns Golf and Spa Hotel, and attracted more than 200 would-be holidaymakers.

Welcoming them on board was the team and representatives from 11 top river and ocean cruise companies.

Everyone attending the free event also received complimentary refreshments and a light continental breakfast, as well as a Haslemere Travel eco cotton bag, which contained the agency’s latest magazine and special offers from the companies who attended on the day.

Guests were entertained by popular cruise line singer Samantha Palin. There was also a full timetable of seminars throughout the day, at the end of last month.

They also had the chance to win prizes in the raffle draws throughout the day, including a beach bag with Champagne, umbrella and Molton Brown goodies, donated by Seabourn, and M&S vouchers, courtesy of Silversea.

The top prize was £500 off a future cruise.
