Haslemere Educational Museum provided a delectable setting for locals celebrating National Cream Tea Day.

Visitors enjoyed the traditional treat in style with the museum’s vintage China, a glass of bubbly and views across the lawn.

The event was inspired by clotted cream makers Rodda’s – who founded National Cream Tea Day and generously provided the museum with lashings of clotted cream and jam.

“It was lovely to see people enjoying a taste of the English summer,” said museum chairman Melanie Odell. “Many thanks to our team of cheerful kitchen volunteers.”
