BRAMSHOTT resident Craig McGregor’s Live ’n’ Local “Hallowe’en” pop-up event raised more than £1,000 for the Bramshott Open Gardens scheme, which is due to take place again this summer.

More than 140 revellers were able to enjoy brilliant live performances by a four local acts as well as drinks and food around an open fire under starry skies, consuming a total of 216 pints and 282 glasses of wine as well as 112 pasties.

Singer Alex Petch delivered smooth vocals to haunting melodies, while Will B, known as a “one man firestorm” and regular at Guilfest and Weyfest rocked the crowd.

The Bayonettes, an indie rock band – made up of singer John Whittle on rhythm guitar, Jamie Foste on lead guitar, Lew Barker on bass and Dan Harding on drums – played an unplugged set while The Absolute, a killer party band, got everyone up and dancing to classic cover songs.

Craig is one of the main organisers of the biennial Bramshott Open Gardens weekend which is scheduled to take place on June 11-12, raising money for charity.
