THE proposed Speed Watch scheme for Liphook has been given the green light by parish councillors.
Police community support officer Eleanor Goddard, who attended the council meeting on September 30, is calling for as many as six volunteers to get on board, as four volunteers have already signed up.
She explained costs of hand-held camera equipment to detect and record motorists' speeds will set the parish council back £500 to purchase and keep.
