A NEW clubhouse pavilion for Liphook United, to be built on Bohunt Manor frontage land, has been given the green light this week.

South Downs National Park Authority and East Hampshire District Council granted planning permission and also approved a pedestrian and cycle link on top of an agreed revision to the football pitch layout.

Green Village Investments spokesman Brian Cox said: "This is wonderful news for Liphook United and the benefits of this facility will be enjoyed by many future generations in the village."
