A DRAMATIC flypast by a pair of Hawks signalled the start of the formal countdown to Dunsfold Wings & Wheels 2012 on Tuesday.
A thrilling display by the RAF Hawk T1 Solo will form part of the five-hour air displays to be staged on both days of the popular annual show over the weekend of August 26-27.
The official launch of this yaer's spectacular also featured a Guinness World Record attempt to create the longest line of toy cars, around the track used in the BBC's Top Gear.
Guests were invited to add their own models to the long line of 3,700 toy cars placed bonnet to bumper by members of the 1015 Squadron Air Training Corps helped by excited youngsters.
