LIPHOOK Methodist Church on London Road staged a two-day flower festival and art exhibition which raised more than £800.

The cash will be shared between Water Aid UK and the church roof fund.

Event co-ordinator Vera Frank-Schultz said: “A team of 20 ladies joined forces to set up the arrangements and displays for the festival.

“Andy Tubbs, chairman of Bramshott and Liphook Arts and Crafts Society helped with placing the artwork from many local artists around the church and we would like to thank him for his help and support."

“It was very successful and there was a constant stream of visitors all through the weekend, who also enjoyed our refreshments,” added Vera.
