THE Liphook in Bloom team have swung back into action with their first meeting of the year.

The team will remain much the same, under the chairmanship of Philip Jordan, but with the addition of Keith Thomas and Lynne Williamson. Keith and Lynne have both been keen helpers but now feel they are able to offer more of their time and skills to the team.

Plans were made for the year ahead which include the annual local competition and this year the team have decided to enter Liphook into South and South East in Bloom again.

The regional competition is a major challenge and it is hoped that residents in the village will give the project their support with their brilliant community spirit and enthusiasm.

The run up to the competition will kick-off with a litter-pick day on Sunday.
