FAMILY, friends and colleagues gathered at Liphook fire station to give watch manager Mick Weeks a fitting send off after 45 years of service as a retained firefighter. Assistant Chief Officer Andy Bowers and Liphook Station Commander Mark Palmer were there to present Mick with a Merital Service Medal for exceptional quality of service, unique for Hampshire Fire and Rescue. They also presented him with a Certificate of Service Quality for exceptional and professional services to the fire service and community over the years.
