LIPHOOK held its inaugural awards ceremony – honouring members of the community who have made a difference to people in the parish, inspired by Major Frank Conroy, who passed away last year.

Bob and Anne Hall received the award, at the Millennium Centre, for a person, or couple, who has worked to make a difference in the parish.

The Halls are involved in a wide range of services to the community – particularly for the elderly.

Bob and Anne are both very involved with the Midhurst Road Day Centre, and without Bob's initiative Liphook's Community Laundry would almost certainly have closed last year.
