LIPHOOK Artisan and Community Market hosted its traditional Christmas fayre on Saturday at the Millennium Centre, which attracted a large number of visitors throughout the day.

Highlights of the event were two performances by members of the Love To Sing choir, under the direction of Vanessa Breach, who enchanted children and adults with a selection of traditional Christmas carols.

Craft stalls offered a selection of books, cards, cushions, clocks, toys, jewellery, Christmas decorations, as well as plenty of stocking fillers.

Lesley Holland’s popular homemade mince pies and cakes sold out early, as did the selection of Partisan cheeses by Guildford’s independent cheesemongers, while hot mulled cider and wine added to the festive atmosphere.

The final Artisan and Community Market of the year will be held on Saturday, December 9, from 10am-1pm.
