Alton Community Choir will perform its festive concert Winter Wheat in Alton Methodist Church on December 2 at 7.30pm.
The choir has sponsored a child through Actionaid for many of its 21 years and was pleased to be able to continue this throughout 2020 and 2021 despite the Covid-19 restrictions.
Choir members also select additional charities to support each year, often those with links to Alton.
Musical director Carolyn Robson and the choir committee ensured choristers could resume face-to-face rehearsals at the Methodist church in September, and the choir has been rehearsing weekly since then to polish its concert programme.
The Hyde Pipers will be guest performers. Tickets, priced £5, are available from choir members or by calling 01252 336602.
