A BIG turnout is hoped for at Fernhurst open day next weekend when village clubs and societies showcase what they have to offer.

The event, from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, March 17, is also the opportunity to join, volunteer or support organisations of your choice.

Clubs include the Fernhurst Society, art, horticulture, Scouts groups, good companions, dog log, lunch club, football, tennis, table tennis, cricket, film, cycling,as well as the Fernhurst Furnace and Revels, the Fernhurst Centre, and parish council.

Entry is free, coffee is free and all ages are welcome.
