FARNHAM Repair Cafe will return next Saturday.
Taking place on October 9 at The Spire Church on South Street, Farnham, those with items needed for repair can come along to the cafe from 10am to 1pm, with the last repair booking at 12.30pm.
Farnham Repair Cafe (FRC) trustees have designed a process to provide the repair cafe service with Covid-19 precautions in place.
To keep everyone safe, customers will be expected to follow FRC guidelines which include wearing a face mask, being socially distanced and using hand sanitiser.
If an item for repair is larger than hand luggage or unusual, please email [email protected] to assess the feasibility of repair.
Five repair stations will be available covering electrical, laptops, mechanicals, bikes and textiles. FRC’s friendly and skilled repairers will aim to help fix products where they are able – the current repair rate is 66 per cent.
FRC does not complete repairs on petrol driven products, industrial devices, three phase power tools, mobile phones or alter clothing that is less than one year old.
FRC is also open to new volunteers with repair skills and those that want to help on the welcome desk - just come along and introduce yourself to a member of the FRC team.
See frc.cfsd.org.uk for further information on the repair cafe.
