Farnham Lions Club has presented a cheque for £3,750 to the Farnham Maltings, being part of the proceeds raised at the 25th Farnham Lions Charity Golf Day held last year.

Lions president Amanda Main said: “The Farnham Maltings is a great community asset and we are delighted to be able to make this donation to contribute towards the development of the Riverside Cafe facility which itself is an important community hub.”

Emma Haigh, interim chief executive of the Maltings, said: “Farnham Maltings has a long-standing friendship with Farnham Lions and we were honoured to be able to share the Hindhead Golf Club captain’s fundraising with them this year.

“We look forward to using this money to improve our café offering for our communities over the coming months.”
