JOBSEEKERS in Whitehill and Bordon are being invited to this year’s East Hampshire Job Fair, where they can meet employers, trainers and employability groups.

For the seventh year running, Radian, one of the south’s leading housing providers, is supporting the event in association with the East Hampshire Employability Group.

The job fair is taking place between midday and 6pm on Thursday, July 13, at the Forest Community Centre, in Pinehill Road, Bordon. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the employment, training and volunteering opportunities in East Hampshire.

Employers in attendance will include Sainsbury’s, Alton College, Adecco, Avon, DRS Technologies and Voyage Care.

Radian’s jobs and training team will hold three free workshops, which will cover topics including work experience, interview skills, transferable skills and customer-service skills. Visitors will benefit from meeting employers with job and work-experience vacancies, and can have an NHS health screening.

There will be the chance to access a free bike to get to work.

Free transport is available to the event, with pick-up points including Headley Down Cricket Club.
