THE First Steps toddler group celebrated the end of term with a party and took the opportunity to say farewell to older children who will be starting "big school" in September.

It was a chance for all children to let their hair down, playing party games, dancing, singing, playing with toys, and eating cake!

First Steps spokesman Vicky Clackson said: "Some of the children who are leaving the group have been coming since they were tiny babies, so it is an end of an era in some ways.
