EAST Hampshire District Council has pledged to keep its headquarters at Penns Place in Petersfield for the foreseeable future.
It want to let out unused office space to local businesses, helping to pay for refurbishments.
It ends a year of speculation during which it was thought the district council would share offices with Havant Borough Council, with which it shares some joint services.
